what is Source Therapies
Source Therapies are based on the teachings of the Kototama Principle, an ancient Japanese life-view, as passed down by O’Sensei M. and Sensei K. Nakazono. O’Sensei M. Nakazono was the founder of Inochi Life Medicine and of the Kototama Institute, one of the oldest schools of Natural Medicine in the United States.
Source Therapy offers a different paradigm, one where health’s basis is the understanding that the body is an equal partner in our life’s path. Where the body is understood to be just as intelligent and wise as our conscious identity considers itself to be, merely communicating in a different way. This difference in communication is primarily that the body speaks in symptoms and feelings. Indeed learning to communicate with the body, or to re-establish communication, with this essential part of self, is the first step toward wholeness and balance that we all need to feel in the pursuit of joy, peace and safety.

what to expect with source therapies
Therapies to awaken and strengthen this communication can include acupuncture, acupressure (shiatsu), moxabustion, diet, and verbal discussion, all directed in learning how to decode our body’s messages to us. Pick this style of treatment if you want to be in a partnership with your body as opposed to treating it as a dumb beast, believing the body mere representation, transportation or a recreational space to be managed like a job or an apartment.
Once the body and the consciousness share the same path, then the ability to discern messages the body is sharing become far more plain. Our Life Will and our judgments based on such, becomes active and plain. But until there’s a shared path of body and identity, our Life Will and Power remain occluded and hidden. The power of our lives can be co-opted and twisted by whichever side is in control and used against the remaining side. That’s why when we make decisions in sickness, when we win, we also lose, and when we lose, we lose more. True health is when both sides, consciousness and body, realize their reason for being is to create and honor space and time for our Life Will and Life Power, and allow decisions to emanate from there. Our identities grow out of our bodies. Then, at some point (usually around puberty), we begin to belittle, deny and reject our body and it’s sovereign intelligence. From that moment on, suffering is born. A huge aspect of health is remembering how to honor that which has gone before (our bodies), and put our consciousnesses into a proper relationship to it. Once we make that commitment, we are again in alignment with the source and foundation of our lives, and can move forward with balance and support. |
